Jay is a South African filmmaker living in Los Angeles. They are a proud IATSE member whose artistic interests lie at the intersection of class and identity. Jay is passionate about both documentary filmmaking and production design and has worked professionally in both of these fields. They are currently directing the feature documentary The Empty Chair, while also as a prop maker and set builder. Jay graduated from the University of Southern California in 2021 with a BFA in Film and Television Production.
